Wyoming serves as an example to the nation for election integrity and I will be steadfast and vigilant to continue to ensure our elections remain safe and secure in order to protect and defend our shared western values.  I will resist any attempt of federal takeover of our elections, which threaten our sovereignty and ability to conduct fair and secure elections.

Election integrity is fundamental. Our system of government and very liberty depend on free and fair elections. Every Wyomingite must be able to trust in the process. I will protect your vote.  By working together with Wyoming’s 23 County Clerk’s to demonstrate Wyoming’s transparent election process and by constantly evaluating areas of improvement to increase voter confidence through utilization of best practices to include election audits. As a cosponsor of the Voter Identification bill, I recognized the increasing concern by many Wyomingites.  In 2017 I was appointed by the Secretary of State’s Office to serve on a taskforce with the County Clerks to evaluate and replace Wyoming’s aging voting equipment. As a result of that work, all 23 counties have modern reliable voting equipment that is not connected to the internet, mitigating serious security risks.
